Did I post this in the review section? I don't really have much more to say about it. It's good. Also, I'll admit now that it *feels* like a Happ, but I don't know for sure. I suppose I should open the damned thing up and do a proper surgical examination.

I'm still playing catchup with Playstation peripherals. Ten years ago, I was firmly in the Saturn camp. In retrospect, it looks like I did this all in the right order.

The Namco stick is loved for its slim profile and colour scheme, I think, moreso than for any advantages over other models. It looks sexy in grey & yellow, and is a very functional stick. Kinda wish I'd kept mine, but - really - it's no better or worse than several other units I already have.

It's nice to get a clean one - they do have a tendency to rust.

I have a shiny new toy:

The photo is not mine, but it matches thanks to some elbow grease and adhesive solvent, the nasty stickers on my specific unit are now removed properly. This is a lovely arcade-styled controller with a Happ stick and big, slappable buttons. It looks as though it shares some components with the Hori/Ascii Dreamcast stick of the same design. I ran through some Soul Calibur 2 and Arcana Heart to put the stick through its paces. Bought it for five bucks, American, and I'm sure it's worth fifty still.

I have another Sony-branded stick with similar components that failed for reasons unknown. Some day I mean to open the damned thing up and fix it. For now, this thing will make me better at VF4.
