I'm not 100% sure why, but one of my photos is on the b105 radio station webpage.

So have you given away rights to that photo to anyone? Because them using it without your permission is a breach of copyright, and them using it without the model's permission (via a model release) is a breach of the trade practices act.

If they have used it illegitimately, I'd be figuring out a reasonable fee for that usage, and then sending them an invoice for 4 times that amount.

PS. Is this one of the "13 year old girls blowing bubbles" photos I've heard so much about?

[Edit: Wait, it seems to be a user submitted photo. So is this Jessica, 19, from Cannon Hill the girl you took a photo of?]

1. I didn't give away any rights.
2. I don't know if the model submitted it or if a friend of hers did. Her facebook wall post was not clear.
3. I'm not immediately keen to send off an invoice, if it'll queer the chances for anyone I know getting famous. I'll hit them up for cash later. =D

Update: Jess did post that up herself, sans-watermark so it didn't look like a pro shot (as if I'm a pro, heh).

I told her we share the copyright. We don't need to call any lawyers until one of us gets rich and it's worth the effort to sue. =D

Well, since we're all totally cognizant of the context and full meaning behind your words, you should be fine. I mean, no one on this forum would believe for a moment that you meant sexually hot. You meant temperature hot. Or, perhaps the lesser known but still entirely legitimate chaste hot.
