Subject: LanSmash - brisbane lan party
Heya mate,

First up sorry to hear about your flood damage!  Was heart-breaking to
hear your story!

Second up, I run a long time gaming LAN event called LanSmash, and
we're having our 11 year birthday party event this weekend!

I was wondering if you would be interested in sharing your story with
the 'smashers.  We have around 200 gamers playing games throughout the
weekend and I thought it would be awesome if you could give us a quick
5 minute talk about your collection.

Just a thought, please let me know if you'd be interested at all!

That sounds pretty groovy actually, though I don't know anyone really gives a shit about my adventures.  Grown man loses his toys seems like a topic sure to garner more derision than interest.  ;)

 You can use this forum's 'send email' function to send me more info, but yeah, sounds like a fun weekend is at hand.
