Subject: The Falcon Heavy
I just can't express how awesome it is to be alive at a time when a private company produces a rocket that will lift 53 metric tons into low Earth orbit, offers a variable price ($80-120 million) along with a competitive price guarantee and multi-launch discounts for repeat customers.
I mean, it's just staggering isn't it? A company is launching massive heavy shit into fucking space with the same price policies you get at a decent chain store.
And how freaking awesome is the name? Falcon Heavy. It could be a comic book bad guy or the name of a shoot-em-up boss, but it's a rocket ship from a company called SpaceX who also launched rockets called Falcon 9 and Dragon using Merlin engines.
This is why it's good to be a geek, go to school and learn shit. You get to play with really, really cool toys.
