Subject: A bad day for someone
So I was walking up to the post office today, and saw an interesting thing:

A kid on the ground with handcuffs on (plastic ones, and not the straps - weird) with two cops on him, and two other cops nearby.  There was a security guard nearby who didn't know what was happening, and another guy - who it turns out I knew from the gym - who did.

This kid, I thought he was about 17 but two ladies standing around thought he was 13, didn't like what his social worker told him.  So he came back to the office with a knife.

So I've got to wonder about this kid's thought processes.  How did it go for him?

"This guy was trying to help me and failed, so I'm gonna go back with a knife!"

"This guy didn't really try to help me, so I'm gonna go back with a knife!"

"The knife!  It loves me, it protects me.  Let's go back to the social worker, knife!"

He's either so stupid, so badly mistreated as a child or allowed to run free for so long, that this seemed like a good idea, or he's so maladjusted he actually really wanted to hurt someone.

Or, perhaps, he's just batshit insane.

In any case, I know what's going through his mind right now: "Fuck I wish I didn't get caught."
