Subject: The thing about Japan...
I love Japan.  I saw more covers for my Galaxy S II phone in one shop today than in every other shop I've ever seen in my entire life, combined.

OK, so the first section has some screen protectors and cables for the GS2, but the next three?  All covers.  All for this one phone.  There was a similar amount for the iphone 4, the 3GS, the latest Sonys, etc etc etc.  OMFG.

And this next shot?  Nothing but card readers.  And this isn't the only place to find them.  For example, the USB-3 card readers are on the other side of the aisle.  And the weird single-format readers, the PCMCIA, the ExpressCard readers, they're somewhere else too.

Memory cards.  As far as you can see, from camera to the end of the aisle, memory cards.  And, once again, this isn't all of them.  In fact, this is just SD CARDS, with some USB sticks closer to the camera.

I repeat, that's just SD cards.  Two solid sections.

The whole selection, including XD, CF etc, is about twice as big as this.

This is why I love Japan.  In Australia, when I wanted a cover for my phone, in a dedicated phone retail shop, I could chose from three or four styles.

Compared to the 250+ shown above.
