Subject: Hori's Real Arcade Pro: Special Addition 2
Hori's Real Arcade Pro joysticks are real top-of-the-line controls, with genuine arcade parts. Sometimes. The original and most of the subsequent releases used slightly smaller parts much like most arcade-style sticks in Japan, but some - the special ones - used real ones.
There are two special sticks in the line: Special Edition, and Special Addition, each using genuine parts from one of Japan's top two arcade control manufacturers, Seimitsu and Sanwa Denshi. Typically they're available for a very limited time and then, mere weeks after release, your only hope for buying one is from an auction somewhere at 50-100% above the original $90 cost.

The price is up to $100 now, but that doesn't stop me from wanting one. A lot.
