Released in the West by Atlus, Disgaea is a strategy RPG with, apparently, a cute female character:

This is Etna, a thousand-year-old demon who secretly plots against the protagonist of the Disgaea games. Proper play wins her over to your side. The undead penguin-looking thing is known as a Prinny, one of many exploding cannon-fodder troops who express themselves wholly in 1337-speak. A Disgaea remake was recently announced for the Nintendo DS, with all the extra content of the PSP version and special control mechanisms tailed for the touch screen.

Etna inspires quite a bit of doujinshi, but this is the wrong forum for that. :)
