Subject: Be Kind, Rewind
Saw this about a month ago.
Went with the wife after seeing the trailer when we went to see No Country For Old Men (which was great).
The Ghostbusters bit was hilarious, so we waited for more like that.
Rush Hour 2. Racial stereotyping. Great. Well done for going for the easy target.
84 other minutes of unfunny, sentimental, misguided and misdirected dross in place of something funny, which was what the trailer promised, including a reel change where the volume went right down and out of sync for half a minute and the colour balance swayed right over towards green.
An obvious ending which conveniently bypassed the fact that the movie studios wanted to cause serious injuries to an area between their buttocks in a court of law.
Jack Black hasn't been funny since School of Rock.
Worst movie I've seen since Hellboy.
Still, at least you could see it.
