Subject: Travel Photos

Just thought I'd post a few shots from my travels this trip. There's some neat stuff here, IMO. It's been a good fun trip all around.

Speeding towards the airport on our way to Korea:

~~Our luxury bus. On the way to our hotel from the Incheon airport we had a 'limousine' bus with only one other passenger onboard. Good times.~~ Oops, this is the plane on the way to Korea.

Our hotel. It wasn't much, but it was cheap: ~~$160~~ $120 for three nights.

THe intersection near our hotel was crawling with these delivery scooters. The Koreans, it seems, will put a delivery apparatus on the back of any damned thing.

The back alley leading to our hotel was stuffed with print shops. In 70 ZumiPaces we counted 12 visible printshops, each with a massive 4- or 5-colour press. At 10pm 5 of them were still running.

This vendor wedges his little shop into a stairwell. The Koreans aren't big on crosswalks so if you want to cross a busy street, you go under it, and most underground crosswalks are stuffed wtih mini (and not so mini) shopping malls.

This freaky individual looked like a man in drag to me, but zumi thought it was just an ugly girl. She may not have been wrong - most girls in Korea were ... not attractive by my standards. Or any standards I'm aware of, actually. Anyway, this person was happy to make for Zumi a little heart shaped balloon.

There are a LOT of Christians in Korea. More than any other asian nation besides the largely Cathlic Philippines. This guy... Well, he's the annoying kind. Comical though.

This pizza was AWESOME. A limited time special from Mr. Pizza, it was a seafood pizza with sweet potatoes in the crust, which you dipped in a special marmelade, and it had shrimp wrapped in a thin coil of potato. The combined effect was just incredibly good.
