Subject: JPN television commercials with idols
The old NFG website used to have a bunch of JPN-region commercials available for download. Lawrence made the observation that these advertisements were usually more about invoking an emotional response from the viewer, rather than making a case for superior product features or attributes. I've found a few of these on Usenet, and in the spirit of sharing them I've uploaded them to my Skydrive share:

I don't believe in embedded Flash video, so these are loose MPG files as the gods intended.

Lawrence, if you look at these can you tell if the Pepsi Next commercials came from you originally? I have a whole directory full of adverts from September of 2007 that I'm not quite sure about the source. If they're new to you, I'll upload the rest to the same location.

Those commercials are newer and of better quality than mine are, I'm sad to admit.

I really wish I had a better capture solution in Japan.  Maybe I'll set one up next year...

Update. I've uploaded about eight more commercials into the same folder. Skydrive's interface sucks, so if you want to see what's new use the 'Detail' view to list files like they would be shown in Windows Explorer.
