Subject: Sony's New Not-A-Wiimote Controller
GamesIndustry.biz reports Sony has filed a patent for a magical new controller, which offers everything the Wiimote does, plus all kinds of extras. So many extras, in fact, that I think setup of the new controller will involve epic Power Glove-style setup and frustration.

I can just imagine Sony's sell line:
It has Wii-style LED sensing, Power Glove-style ultrasonic sound waves, Wii-style clip-on expandable controller features, removable faceplates, a wickedly complicated processing system, and if you own a stadium, the ability to live out your soccer dreams.
