Subject: Some weird prototype gear:
For your viewing enjoyment and wonderment, some protype PC Engine gear and a few pics of some MegaDrive protos: MD Floppy Drive, a MD Floppy + keyboard and a MD FDD + touchpad. None of these items were released, but in the case of the PC Engine gear you can clearly see where some of them made it into different products that were released. The CD ROM drive went through some seriously heavy changes, the modem made at least the proto stage (And is auctioned on yahoo.jp now and then), and you can see a proto DuoMonitor as well. Neat stuff.

None of this hardware was released, although as you can see the CD ROM and Monitor devices at least made prototype stage. Both of these were actually released in very different form as the CD ROM and Duo Monitor.
