Subject: Xmas Dinner, 2008
Just so no one thinks I've gone hungry in any kind of way, I'd like to present the incredible meal Zumi whipped up for Xmas 2008.  It was, without question, one of the finest meals I've ever eaten.

The pre-dinner snack, featuring garlic and cheese mushroom caps, smoked salmon with cream cheese and lemon, tomato+basil+mozza and a neat parsley+ham+creamcheese on crackertoast.

The main course, featuring roast chicken breast with three kinds of sauce

Is that how you're supposed to do the Vietnamese-style spring roll wraps? I've been closing off both ends, like Filipino lumpia. I have like a couple hundred of those rice-paper things left, I should try that out.

No, she was trying something new.  It works well, sorta, but the damn things are a mess to eat no matter how you wrap 'em.  You're probably better off to do it the way you have been, I think.
