Subject: Legal Advice: Photography Laws
Australia
Most Australian photographers have seen the 4020 page, which details very neatly what you can and cannot do with your camera in Australia.

Recently though I found some sites, like this Street Photographer's Rights page over on artslaw.com.au.  Another good Artslaw article deals specifically with photography and the internet.

There's also a really great entry by a Sydney Morning Herald photographer which has a lot of detail about the laws, the ethics, and some good links.

The Australasian Legal Information Institute has a very detailed analysis of Australian law re: photography

Following up on this, the specific legality of nude photos and the minimum age in Australia (I looked this up after finding a page that said 16 was the limit, which surprised me).  In Queensland:

Working in the entertainment industry is defined as working as a performer in advertising or entertainment and includes acting, dancing, miming, singing and modelling. [...] Recorded entertainment includes film, television, radio, photographic modelling...

You are the employer of a child if you engage a child, or arrange for a child to perform work at your direction whether the child works for gain or reward or on a voluntary basis.

It is an offence to allow a child under 18 years old to work while nude or wearing sexually provocative clothing.

So there you have it, in Queensland at least: If a child under 18 is nude or sexually suggestive while under your direction, you might as well lube your bunghole 'cause you're going to jail.

Don't you photograph under-age kids (Javi, Jake, otehr traceurs) wearing nothing but pants, showing their sexually provocative bare chests and what-not?...looks like someone is going to jail! haha

Only when they are scantly clad women...not boys, unfortunately your photography usually fails at that point, poor NFG
