I swear, after four years in Australia I think I can count the number of guys I've seen wash their hands in the restrooms without needing anyone else's digits.  What the sweet fuck went wrong in this country and/or state that people need the government to tell them to wash their goddamned hands!?

They run ads like this all the time in Japan, but where it feels like Australia's still in the dark ages, Japan's ads were a lot more progressive.  Mute your phone on the train, watch your cigarettes when in a crowd, things of that nature.  I think it's a good idea, especially here where I swear it's socially 1970 or something.

Subject: Jetstar & Cute Chicks
I confess I do like this Jetstar ad.  It has a real happy vibe to it, and given our positive experiences when flying this discount airline I kinda want to believe that they are indeed as happy as they're portrayed.

Of course, they also try to get my attention using tried and true techniques.  It's a minute long ad, so the ratio of hotties in bikinis to normal people isn't realy that high, but for sheer quantity it does impress.

OK, this ad is for Glad products.  Their cling-wrap mostly, I guess.  I'm just trying to figure out what this silly bint's plan was.

She made a salad.

She wrapped it up.

She took it to the table.

She unwrapped it.

...That seems odd to me.
