Subject: German Catholic Idiot Links Nazis to Atheists
Happy Zombie Jesus Day, everyone!
To celebrate the global cult of christ this easter, a German catholic bishop has said that atheism brought us the Nazi atrocities (Der Spiegel). Atheist groups say the bishop is trying to rewrite history, and he is. Fact is the Nazis were allied with churches and sometimes used religion to justify their actions.
Of course, the church will say "Oh, the Nazis just said they were working for god, but they weren't." Sorry, but I don't allow that your delusions are somehow more justified. It's high time religion as a cultural force changes into a more positive force. Basing your good works on a foundation of fear and ignorance does not garner any appreciation from me.

Quote by Der Spiegel:Mixa's claim that the Nazi regime was "godless" is "a massive distortion of history," Schmidt-Salomon said. Nazi ideology -- including its anti-Semitism -- was based largely on Christian traditions, he said, explaining that evidence for that can be found in Hitler's "Mein Kampf" and elsewhere. "The majority of the Nazi elite saw themselves as Christians," says Schmidt-Salomon.
