Subject: Conversations with a Coworker
I'll let you draw your own conclusions here:
NFG: What would cause a start date and expiry date to show as a line comment on an invoice?
Coworker: Captn Obvious says: By putting the information in the comment field
NFG: yeah, but <customer> says they're coming up unexpectedly, and they seem to be following a template. I'd have guessed she knew how to check the comment field, so I thought there might be other things that cause it to appear.
Coworker: You didn't say who was getting the problem, what program was being used or what rtpe of parts are being sold. What else did you want me to say??
NFG: less editorial, more facts. =P
Coworker: That was one fact out of context.
NFG: let's try again:
Are there components of our software that might automatically put line comments including start date and expiry date on invoices?
Coworker: Yes
