Capcom CPS Changer

This is a rare system, rarer than most, and by a long way. It’s Capcom’s only home console, if you can call it that.

This particular system has been in my possession since I lived in Japan, c.2003. It’s been featured on websites like Time Extension and in DeAgostini Spain’s Street Fighter Figure Collection (the Poison issue).

What’s Included

The buyer will receive the original box, which looks its age but is still in sound condition, the system itself with the original power supply, the JAMMA fingerboard that connects the system to the game, and the game as well – Street Fighter Zero/Alpha, with all the plastic clips that cover the screws (they’re not shown in every photo because they were removed for photos of the internals).

I also have a magazine page from a 1990s-era Japanese computer magazine (forgive me, I forget which) discussing the system, and gives all the secret codes for the Changer-exclusive URA-mode options.

It also includes a boxed Capcom Power Stick, which looks new and includes all the original cables, stickers and documentation. I don’t know if it was NOS when I bought it or just not used for very long, but it looks brand new.

I will also include all the capacitors to refresh the system. I haven’t replaced them yet because the system still works perfectly and there is no sign of degradation.

Also included with this system is the never opened DeAgostini Poison figure (and a handful of other figures as well) and the magazine issue No. 29 with photos of this unit, sent to me by DeAgostini Spain.

Shipping

This system is located in Brisbane, Australia.

The buyer is welcomed to collect it in person.

If shipping is desired the buyer will be asked for the actual shipping price, with no extra costs for boxing it all up for safe transport. I have many years of experience sending high value items safely, but insurance and responsibility for safe transport are the buyer’s and courier’s responsibility, respectively.

I am happy to coordinate the packaging and shipping, including specific instructions and proof of safe packaging, as desired by the buyer. This shit’s expensive, I want to make sure no one’s unhappy with the efforts taken. You want pictures of every stage of packing? You want extra bubble wrap, cardboard, etc? You got it.
